5. Data Sharing and Buy Data
ECpages offers a Buy Data service that allows businesses to purchase company records filtered by region, country, and business type. The information included in these datasets is drawn from the details companies submit during registration.
Whether your company data is included in Buy Data depends on your membership tier:
- Starter (free) registrations: All company information submitted in your registration application is included in Buy Data exports. Free listings cannot opt out of data sharing.
- Growth and Enterprise (paid) members: You may opt out of data sharing. When you opt out, your entire company record is excluded from Buy Data and is never shared with data purchasers.
Paid members can choose to opt out during registration and can change this preference at any time from their account settings. Opting out applies only to the Buy Data service; your company will still appear in the public directory in accordance with your membership tier.
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access, update, or correct your personal information.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing of your information.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Opt out of Buy Data sharing if you are a Growth or Enterprise member.
